One Giant Leap (Motion) for Mankind
Saturday, 21 September 2013; 10 am
Can I just say, interacting with a computer via a Leap Motion is an incredibly challenging task.
The main problem with Leap Motion is it’s seeing things that aren’t there. There are little symbols and other things just randomly wandering around my screen. Or maybe that’s just the iTunes update.
Oh, I see: the Leap Motion can see my nose.
… oho, and the OS X onscreen keyboard has great difficulty keeping up with people typing on the real keyboard. This is hilarious, because I’m watching it trying to keep up with me while I’m typing a journal entry.
