[BUGS] freebsd installation with SATA drivers

If it previously worked fine without any special drivers, then I don't  
see how that would help.. Besides you can't just install linux drivers  
in freebsd..

Is the boot record message from the BIOS? Or does the freebsd boot  
loader start up first?

Is this a laptop?
