Aye, mine has changed a couple of times, it seems from optus changing  
the network ranges, but other than that it takes a lengthy power cut  
to lose the dhcp lease and almost never happens..

As a side note many isps now offer static ip addresses at little to no  
extra cost and are standard with many plans even for home use.. TPG  
and Internode both have static addresses on all but their cheapest  
plans for eg..
