Thanks Andy for your reply

i've found which disk da0 is. now i can't just simply pull it out and
replace it with a new hdd can i? will i need to reconfigure RAID after
replacing the faulty hdd? (currently RAID 1+0) what happens with the OS
after the replacement if the OS sits on this faulty hdd?

Thanks!

Tong
