when i get a bit brave i try to ping/tracerout those ip-addrs

yes, that makes sence to me .. though theses day with pf as my
firewall i get time-outs whenever i try to use ping/traceroute,
i was finally trying to come to some level of understanding
about how teh ipfw (in freebsd v2.2.5-r) was working when i
finally upgraded to freebsd v6.2 and i noted teh its ipfw as
diferent .. ok things happen in ten years so i changed to pf
and i'm in a real mess but i now have less garbage coming in
and there fore less billable traffic as long as i do not use
a/any graphical web browers then all hell breaks through, grr

not as far as i know, i just have myown (and a few clients) in
teh mailserves alias list butn none as a "catchall"

a while ago i made the mistage od subscribing to a malilist
with my own userid and i've been getting a tricle (50 or so a
day) but that increaded an order of magnitude when i used teh
same addr to check out teh bugs maillist ins it intermediate
stage (thanks sam sue et al, much appreciated) it wa supposed
to be a test so i din't .. well its done now and its been added
to teh garbage can list so i am going to have to change my own
userid, after some 25 years . well things change nothing lasts
for ever.

you should see teh garbage i get from teh userid that i use for
the freebsd mailing lists, that id has only ever been used for
that purpose and so the spread of that userid is related to teh
circle that is teh ones that share teh bsd maglinlinst
informations for spam purposes

i am now starting to see some contamination as in the bugs list
garbage is not startint to appear in with teh garbage that came
specifically from the freebsd 'lists spammers so there is some
intercommunications
