[BUGS] Cron job breakage in 6.3.1

Hey gang,

I recently updated a system from 6.2 to 6.3.1 and one of my cron jobs
stopped working..

The script mounts some filesystems using smbfs and the usernames and
passwords for them are stored in roots .nsmbrc (600), it runs as
expected when started from the shell, but when started by cron it no
longer seems to be reading the .nsmbrc file and is prompting for a
password (which cron doesn't type so it eventually times out).

Has something changed in relation to cron or smbfs mounting? There was
nothing about it in UPDATING.. I'm thinking it might be some security
feature, but I don't see where anything has changed in this regard
from 6.2 to 6.3?

Cheers,
Jerahmy.
