The other possibility (perhaps: I don't use it myself) is a
web-based GUI.  I believe that there are several such admin
tools available in ports, and it means that you don't have to
install or configure X of any flavour.  (You probably do have to
install Apache, but you probably have that already, if it's a
server box...)
