System modelling on OS X
Sunday, 24 February 2013; 4 pm
The second of the major things I’m doing today is to look into system modelling.
I’m working to a documentation standard for the Pondr application (which is written in Perl), which requires system modelling and algorithms, and to that end, I’m planning to learn and use UML, likely with the Umbrello UML modeller.
Umbrello is a KDE application, part of the KDE 4 SDK, which has been ported to Mac OS X (because I’m doing this on elspeth, of course), and is one of the best free UML tools available. I’d go for the Rational toolchain, of course, but the cost is a tad prohibitive. Thanks, IBM.
Anyhow, that’s the exercise while maildirs are being split.
