[BUGS] Australian FreeBSD CVSup mirrors wave Goodbye

CVSup.au.FreeBSD.org has gone, as has cvsup[1-7].au.FreeBSD.org.

We've had the privilege of running the last of the Australian CVSup
servers since 2008. FreeBSD's CVSup distribution network is being torn
down now, and last night we pulled the cvsup*.au.FreeBSD.org domain
names. The Project's master CVSup server has not been updated at all
since 31st May and has, in fact, had a number of its collections
intentionally emptied so that empty collections have been replicated
throughout the network to the country mirrors :-(

The CVSup servers were used by most folks for FreeBSD source and ports
updates. Distribution of the source, ports and documentation
repositories was transferred to the Project's centralized subversion
servers a couple of years ago. A subset of CVSup clients made use of
the CVSup mirrors to update their own copies of the GNATS database, the
mailing list archives or the FreeBSD web site. Those collections are no
longer available via CVSup but are now distributed as rsync modules from
the Project's centralized rsync server.

The nearest official FreeBSD servers available to those of us in the
South Pacific are:

  SRC, DOC and PORTS Repositories
    svn://svn0.us-west.FreeBSD.org/<base|doc|ports>

  GNATS, Mail Archives, Web Site
    rsync://bit0.us-west.FreeBSD.org/

Any of you are welcome to make use of our own unofficial mirrors,
synchronized hourly from the above sources. Simply substitute
freebsd.riverwillow.net.au for the svn and rsync hostnames above.

Thanks to those of you who ran Australian CVSup mirrors in the past,
long before we got started.
