Fortunately I live close enough to the beach and still have time to
enjoy that. :-)  Being able to ride a bike to the beach for a break
and then return to the keyboard refreshed is what I was longing
for for ages.  And the summer is gorgeous!  I've already forgotten
what the Russian winter is and got a faint feeling of unreality when
a friend from Moscow brought a handful of glittering snow to show me
over Skype.

Yeah, [UF]FS has served us well for many years, but the features of
the new generation of file systems are too tempting.  What is Unix
about, after all, if not total controllability and extensibility?
