In January, in an effort to help address the lack of PGP servers in the
southern hemisphere, we commissioned a public OpenPGP keyserver in
Brisbane (on the same machine that hosts the FreeBSD CVSup and WWW
mirrors). The keyserver software deployed is SKS 1.1.0. For more
information, see the keyserver's information page at:

<http://keys.riverwillow.net.au:11371/>

 keys.riverwillow.net.au (AU - Brisbane)

is part of the global set of OpenPGP keyservers
   and currently peers with:

 - keys.keysigning.org (AU - Melbourne)
 - keyserver.oeg.com.au (AU - Adelaide)
 - keyserver.sparcs.net (Korea)
 - pgp.net.nz (NZ)
 - ice.mudshark.org (USA)
 - keyserver.gingerbear.net (USA)
 - keyserver.wetnet.net (USA)
 - pgp.ugcs.caltech.edu (USA)
 - pgp.mit.edu (USA)

Feel free to point your PGP key management software at
keys.riverwillow.net.au but you might prefer...

SUBKEYS.AU.PGP.NET
------------------
The well-known subkeys.pgp.net address does include *one* Australian
keyserver but odds are you'll end up on something in Europe. I have
contacted the pgp.net folks and have arranged for a new address
(subkeys.au.pgp.net) to point to as many Australian keyservers as are
interested in participating.

KEYS.AU.GNUPG.NET
-----------------
keys.gnupg.net is a similarly well-known round-robin source of
northern-hemisphere keyservers. I have worked with the gnupg.net folks
to provide keys.au.gnupg.net which points to Australian keyservers.

Enjoy!
