Can you elaborate on the question a little?  In my experience,
it "just works", same as ever.  There are no special drivers to
load, that I am aware of.  Three of the FreeBSD systems that I
use have SATA drives, and they work/install just the same as the
old parallel ATA drives.

On the other hand, I believe that there exist some funky
separate-controller SATA RAID systems that cause people grief,
but you haven't specified one of those, and I wouldn't be able
to help if you had...
