if i try any of teh v6 _(release cd's 0, 1 and 2) put in teh
cd drive and boot it locks solid as per our previous (off list)
discussions and  you were going to look into that for your set
of 1850's and i've been wainting to hea back as regards your
investigations .. it loocks sold when it gets tot eh keyboard
screen output

for me a keyboard is important, my 1850 has yet to learn to
decipher my attampts at thought control .. grin.

getting/following/possibly using 7-stable is in teh far too hard basket
for me at this point in time.
