Hi everyone,

i have been trying to troubleshoot the SCSI error below but with no luck:

Copied 32 bytes of sense data offset 12: 0x70 0x0 0x1 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0
0x18 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x5d 0x2 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0
0xff 0xff 0xff 0xff 0xff 0xff 0x0 0x0
(da0:ahd1:0:0:0): READ(10). CDB: 28 0 1 f5 4 3b 0 0 4 0
(da0:ahd1:0:0:0): CAM Status: SCSI Status Error
(da0:ahd1:0:0:0): SCSI Status: Check Condition
(da0:ahd1:0:0:0): RECOVERED ERROR asc:5d,2
(da0:ahd1:0:0:0): Reserved ASC/ASCQ pair
(da0:ahd1:0:0:0): No Recovery Action Needed

This was in my previous post but the problem back then was not caused by
this SCSI error and was solved. since in his reply Callum suggested to
check the HDD and replace the faulty one, i have been trying to track
down which of the 6 HDDs is the one having the problem. i'm relatively
new to this area so any help would be greatly appreciated, e.g where to
start checking, using what facility etc. i will provide any info
necessary. below is the output from camcontrol devlist:

root at echo:~# camcontrol devlist

attached is the dmesg info from the boot sequence.

please let me know if any info is needed.

Thanks in advance for your time.
