first an expiation

several paragraphs of explanation have i deleted because you
all have heard it beofre, as i am sich and tired of continually
retelling my story you all are probably so off hearing it

that is why i ask fro help more than the average body as well
as more often .. i wa going to apologise for that but why
should i have to apologise fro asking for help

please explain to me why i have to apologise fro asking for
help ... why ???

now on with the main show ...

i was going to point out in typical jonathan style that my name
is not some anglo-saxon bastardisation off same, but spelt like
this, jonathan .. comprende j o n a t h a n once more kiddies j
o n a t h a n .. <mild gentle grin, ok>

i have frontal cortex dysfunction because of significant mid
brain damage due to how i was carried before my birth the
wonderious dr's don't seem to know whatever happened than is
now exacerbated by th medication i now need to take because of
teh effects of that damage, or so i am told .. thats life, i am
doing the best with what i have got and that is why i ask for
help as often as i do.

i know it gets pretty boring to hear the same over and over
again, just be greatfull that it is noe your body that my brain
is inhabiting ... there but for tha grace of your god you
would have gone

two things, i dug out my v2.2.5 freebsd installation cdrom set
and loked on teh documentations therin contained ..

ok not in teh same place but similar content and the same
confusion still existed after reading it for teh hundredth
(figure of speach) time, lots even by my standards.

oops i thought that i had, at least indirectly at least in
several other post i have outlined the layout and as such i
though that if i could with my skillset then .. well i'm nto a
mind reader then i suppose i cannot expect youal to be same as
well .. fair trade .. ok.

you know, i'm starting to think that i, i think too much,
perhaps that is what the real issue is ?? doncha think

but, after reading teh two versions, namely v2.2.5 (teh
installed on mx host and the one exibhiting the behaviour, teh
20 plus yo host) and the v6.2 (and also v7 thx pj) i came to
teh conclusion that the only difference is that in my existing
setup i have to change teh relevent values and re-boot and teh
more recetn incarnations i can change teh relevent values
in/with a sysctl incantation and carry on .. or so it seems to
me.

one of teh things that bothers me me is that this full table
issue seems to be trancient, i am starting to think that it is
being caused by a system user, as in teh mail handler itself
that is causing teh proc table full errors, can this happen ??

if this actually the case than how can i go about protection
teh system as it exists now from what could be a potential
'driven to destruction' overload situation ??

yes i understand that teh best solution is to upgrade, sorry
that is not a possibility right now .. if i can limit the
number of sendmail children being spawned yb teh incoming
garbage connections then the proc table won't be driven into
overload .. yes ?

hope that teh explanation didn't put too many nose's out of
joint too far, too often .. it is simple you remind i explain,
it is not like i can wave a magic wond and have the situation
miraculiously fixed no matter how loudly the doctors shout from
teh rooftosp about how wonderfull there skills and technologies
are becoming ..

here endetht he lesons

as usual, always, much thanks and gracious appreciations

kind regards

jonathan

ps, as regards using google, for reasons best know to
google-admin when i log in with links it refers me (my session)
to its captcha page where i have to read teh graphics image
then type in teh word that i can bearly see (i tried with gui
browser, opera actually, works fine here) after abotu the tenth
try i get so frustrated i nearly throw my model m into teh
sony, given i like my model m i refrain and go look up my
dictionary or some other reference book on my shelf, which is
vintage 1992-1997 ergo i come here it see if my explanations
derived from said bookshelp stand up to 2007 scrutiny

this is why i ask, such as i do, questions .. ok.

thats all folks ..
