ok, makes sence now .. gotta get a new brain i think the
original on u=is getting a bit worn for teh wear and tear, grr.

> The real question is: why do you get 10/half there?

because it is a 10BaseT (sorry if wring accronym) but it should
do half/full dplx and do it automatically as well

ok, i will be happy at 10/full .. big grin
and the droping of teh collisions .. if i understand teh post
thus far.

<Harry>
when i can afford it i will replace teh nics wih something a
bit more tocpical.

like all things when i can i will ..

question, please

if i get a 1000baset copper card, is it going to have issues
with teh 133 mhz cpu that will be driving it ?? i understand
that i won't be 'pushed' hard, if at all ?? will this cause it
and teh network problems .. i've seen some comments on
-hardware/-stable/-someothers that sorts indicate this might be
an issue .. thought it might be just my missunderstandin of teh
american dialect

thanls harry edwin andrew .. much appreciated all your help als
others who posted as well thanls peoples

regards

jonathan

ps.1, to those to whom this is an issue, please no more reminding
me about my poor typing et all, you don;t have to remind me
about this.

ps.2 i'm struging tonoth so please excuse teh bad typing, i wish
i could wave a magic want and fix it but i can't do it anymore
.. sorry
