I’ve decided, then, to bite the bullet and learn the one programming language that I truly, truly hate: Python. And I’m going to implement Hellvetica in it.

The main reason I find this an attractive position is that it’s a very cross-platform language, and Xpra, which I use nowadays (and which is compiled using Cython) is very snappy, so I have no qualms about speed, and I get all the blazing modularity of Python, with all the blazing speed of native code.
